River Blue

I carve, incise & impress porcelain clay to create tile with bas-relief detail. I develop my own glazes, apply them with brushes & high-fire the tile to develop color and strength.
We use traditional tile-setting techniques to mortar the tile onto backer board & we use a high performance grout. This framed tile is a durable work of art that can hang on a wall or become the focus of a permanent installation inside or outdoors.
